NEXT ART SALE EVENT

The next Northeast Arkansas Visual Arts League (NEAVAL) Show & Sale will be Saturday, May 9, 2026, (the day before Mother's Day) from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm at the Harlin Henry Senior Center, 1210 S. Church St., Jonesboro AR (next to the Earl Bell Community Center).

This is a free, inside event open to the public. Local artists will have original paintings, photography, floral art, pottery, hand crafted jewelry, and homemade baked goods for sale. Stop by and pick up something beautiful for your Mother or for yourself!

A Word About Art Pricing

If a 10 x 10 inch painting takes 3 or 4 hours to sketch and paint, and I price it at $20…please do the math – It’s about $5 an hour (less than minimum wage). Then, add in the cost of canvas, paint, paint brushes, pallets, embellishments, glue, the time it takes to prepare the canvas and let it dry (and cost of Gesso), tags for labeling & pricing, sealer, and hardware for hanging. My art is very inexpensive considering the time, effort, and materials that it took to produce it and worth the $5.00 to $35.00 that you pay for it.
